Hi all,
Well, not sure why I'm posting this in here, because I'm not mad about it, but it has irritated me at the time. It irritates me, when people message me, then just leave me hanging in the middle of a conversation without so much as saying, I have to go. I mean, I can understand a lot of other things are more interesting and enjoyable than talking to me, yeah I get that, but if that's the case, why messageme in the first place? for that reason, I have taken about 30 or so people off my list. In my opinion, there are multitaskers, and then there are polite multitaskers. I don't mind talking to someone who is multitasking, so long as they're good enough at it, and don't leave me hanging ten minutes at a time. I suppose if i were multitasking, it wouldn't irritate me too much. I'm mostly just sitting there waiting for them to reply. I mean outwardly I'm polite, but inwardly I'm saying, are you going to answer me or not? If I was the one who messaged them in the first place, then I know I don't really have the right to vent or anything, because it's people's perrogative whether or not they answer me or not, but I hate it when they message me first, then just leave me hanging without so much as a gotta go. If they do it only once, I just figure maybe they have internet disconnects, but if they do it several times in a row, they're history as far as I'mconcerned. I don't message anybody first anymore, if they want to talk to me, they can message me first.

i have that all the time here on the quick notes and im sick of the whole thing,its just sheer ignorance.
but worse still is being stalked and recieving messages from someone who wont take a telling.

well i'm sorry, but I've had many nice conversations with the person you're refferring to, and I can't for the life of me imagine her stalking anyone.
As for the quicknotes, I have public quicknotes turned off. I won't go into the first reason, because it's already been discussed, and I'm trying not to intentionnally make enemies, but the second reason is, when I tried to get in a conversation about ventrilo, I was ignored, so I thought, what's the point.
Fortunately, I haven't had anyone say anything out of the way to me in private quicknotes. If you want to turn them all off, go in your profile settings, or where it says edit preferences, and there are 3 options. one is mass quicknotes enabled, then there's private notes only, then there is show none. Choose that one, and you won't ever see a quicknote again.
